Privacy Policy
Effective October 30, 2026
This policy covers this website, our two waitlist forms, the texts and emails they lead to, and the leads we sell. We wrote it in plain words.
Who we are
This site is run by Flying Goat Leads, a service of Skel & Spence Management, LLC, a Florida limited liability company d/b/a Flying Goat Agency. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean that company.
Questions or privacy requests? Email leads@flyinggoatleads.com. Put “Privacy Request” in the subject line.
What we collect
The open enrollment waitlist form asks for:
- Your first and last name
- Your email
- Your mobile number
- The states you are licensed in
- The products you sell
- Your brokerage or company, if you add one
- About how much you sell in a year
- Your monthly lead budget
The FGL Teams waitlist form asks for:
- Your first and last name
- Your email
- Your mobile number
- Your team or agency name, if you add one
- How many agents are on your team
- The plan you are interested in
- Where your leads come from, if you tell us
- About how many leads your team gets a month
Both forms also ask if we may call and text you. The box starts unchecked. We save your choice, yes or no. If you say yes, we also save the exact words you saw, their version, the time and the page you sent the form from.
When you send a form, we also get:
- Your IP address
- Your browser and device type
- The page you sent the form from, and the page that sent you there
- Ad tags in the link you used, if there are any
- The time you sent it, and how long the form was open
Bot check. Both waitlist forms run a bot check from Vercel in your browser. It looks at signals from your browser to tell people from bots. We only get a yes or no answer. We do not keep it with your request.
Limits. To stop abuse, we count how many times a form is sent from one IP address and for one email. Upstash only gets a scrambled copy of your email. Each count clears on its own, within about 20 minutes for an IP address and about 2 hours for an email.
Your browser. If you hide the Open Season bar at the top of the page, your browser remembers that, so it stays hidden. The bot check may also put its own security cookies in your browser on this site. Their names start with KP_. They are used only to tell people from bots, not for ads. We do not use ad pixels or analytics tags on this site.
How we use it
- To review your waitlist request and check your license in the states you pick
- To email you a copy of your answers, and to reach you about the waitlist
- To call and text you, only if you checked the box
- To keep a record of your call and text choice
- To stop spam, bots and abuse
Who gets it
Our team. Every request comes to our team by email.
The FGL app. Each open enrollment request is also loaded into the FGL app, so we can review it there. It gets there by a secure send from our server to the app, or our team loads it from the email. FGL Teams requests are not loaded into the app.
Companies that help us. They handle your data only to do their job for us, not for their own marketing. They are listed below.
The law. We may share data when the law says we must, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety.
The companies that help us
- Vercel
- Hosts this site. Runs the bot check on both waitlist forms. Gets your IP address and browser on every visit.
- Upstash
- Keeps the short counts that stop a form from being sent too many times. Gets your IP address and a scrambled copy of your email, not the email itself.
- Google Workspace
- Our email service. It carries the email with your answers to our team, and the copy we send you.
- Neon
- Hosts the FGL app’s database, where your open enrollment request is loaded.
- HighLevel
- Sends our texts. If you said yes to texts and we text you, it gets your name, email and mobile number. It uses them only to send our texts and keep the record that goes with them.
Leads we sell
We also sell leads. A lead is the name, phone, email, state and coverage needs of a person who asks us for help with health coverage. They reach us through our ads and forms, not through this site.
We sell each lead to one licensed insurance agent. In our New Agents program, a lead may be sold up to 30 days after we get it. That agent may call, text or email the person about coverage.
If a lead is sold, we keep its record, and the consent that came with it, for 4 years. If you buy leads in the FGL app, this is true for each lead you buy. For leads in our New Agents program, we delete an unsold lead’s contact details 90 days after we get it.
To see, fix or delete your data, or to ask us not to sell or share it, email leads@flyinggoatleads.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. The full FGL Privacy Policy says more.
Texts and emails
We email you a copy of your answers. We may email you about the waitlist and how to start.
If you check the box, we may call and text you about the waitlist, your account and new leads assigned to you. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any text to stop texts.
- Reply HELP for help, or email leads@flyinggoatleads.com.
- To stop emails, reply to any email and ask us to stop, or email leads@flyinggoatleads.com.
Our SMS Terms say more about our texts.
Your mobile information
This part is about the mobile number you give us on a waitlist form, and your yes to texts. It is not about the leads we sell.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
If you said yes to texts and we text you, we give your name, email and mobile number to the company that sends our texts. It uses them only to send our texts and keep the record that goes with them.
Do not sell or share
We do not sell or share the personal information you give us on this site. We do sell leads, as “Leads we sell” says above.
You can ask us not to sell or share your data, at any time. This works for leads too. Email leads@flyinggoatleads.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. It is free, and you do not need an account. If we already sold your lead, we ask the agent who bought it to honor your request.
See or delete your data
You can ask to see the data we have about you, fix it or delete it. Email leads@flyinggoatleads.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. Tell us what you want and the email you used on the form.
We find your data by the email you used. If you used more than one email, list each one. We check that the request is from you, and we answer within 45 days.
If you said yes to texts, we keep proof of that yes for 4 years. When we delete your request, that proof becomes a one way fingerprint. It is a scrambled code made from your email and mobile number, plus the version of the words you saw and the time you said yes. It cannot be turned back into your email or number.
How long we keep it
The FGL app keeps an open enrollment request while it is open. If we say no to a request, its contact details are deleted after 1 year. Proof of a yes to texts is kept for 4 years, as a fingerprint once the request is deleted.
Our team keeps the emails with your answers until we no longer need them for the waitlist, or until you ask us to delete them.
The counts that stop abuse clear on their own within about 2 hours.
We keep lead records as “Leads we sell” says above.
How we keep it safe
This site only works over a secure connection. When our server sends an open enrollment request to the FGL app, the request is signed, so it cannot be changed on the way. No system is perfectly safe, but we work to keep your data safe.
Children
This site is for licensed insurance agents. It is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you think we have, email leads@flyinggoatleads.com and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we post the new one here with a new effective date.
If you have an FGL account
The FGL app has its own, longer privacy policy. It covers your account, your leads and our lead alert texts. Read the full FGL Privacy Policy.
